1st Anniversary

Billie and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary yesterday!

We spent the weekend at Disneyland and, using my first paycheck from the custom dress referenced to earlier, I was able to spring for a hotel room! This let us spend the entire weekend not having to worry about household chores. Oh, sweet joy.


This photo was taken right after our delicious crab leg dinner at home and a letter we wrote to our imaginary childrenz. The letter highlighted some of the many adventures life has taken us on within this first year of marriage.


This picture was also taken just before we tried to eat slices of our wedding cake. Our cake was a two tier bundt cake: chocolate chocolate chip at the bottom, pecan praline on top. Needless to say, this frozen monstrosity was scary. Luckily, we were able to get tiny sized replicas of the two cakes. They were adorable, delicious, and oh so buttery.
